I use akzentz traditional gels with all different brands of colored
gel (some sog some not). I use Gelousy 1-Step with all different
brands of color gel. When forgetting to place an order, I have used
akzentz and Masterworks together.
I use generic acetone and 99% alcohol.
The only "mixing" problem I've ever had was using shellac for color in
a traditional gel svc.

You do not want to mix liquid & powder from 2 different
manufacturers.
There are many nail cleansers, dehydrators and primers ( acid & non-
acid) that can be interchanged. I still believe that you should
always pay attention to what the manufacturer recommends.

I'm always happy to learn nuggets of info and I invite any contrary
info here but I'm not looking for a manufacturers fed answer because
they want to sell more of their product.
Each layer of gel is cured in separate layers (minus the dispersion
layer) and so you can use 12 separate layers of gel from different
manufacturers each cured separately and you are technically not
"mixing brands". Am I correct in this ?
This has always been my understanding as One of my mentors long,long
ago was Barb Wetzel ( Nailsplash)
Now this new type of gel... Because Shellac & Gelish ARE different
animals... Not sure about this one ???
