Mine are on the OPI displays....wish they were made with clear plastic. I use 
the base, color and top as I would on a client. I have had no issues or 
problems.

Yesterday I made my own tips on orangewood sticks and used 2 coats of Eco SOG, 
no base, no topcoat. Cured 2 min each layer, wiped and topped with clear 
polish. 
Worked great!
