The lamps themselves won't give cancer or cause aging, however we are exposed to a lot of uv from a lot of different sources and the effects are cumulative. We should all be wearing sunscreen all the time. Therefore, it's not "buying in to the hype" to use a sunscreen on our clients and ourselves when doing gels.
