The Illum one and Illum two collections from Young Nails have to be capped. They are colored aluminum flakes. If you don't cap, you will file off the color. I always say to apply your glitter thin so that you can cap all in clear. It gives a 3D look and you never have the "oh crap" moment where you forgot to leave room to cap one of the Illum 1 or 2 in clear. But, just one more question about glitter: After it is applied to the gel or acrylic powder and then onto the nail, do I need to apply more gel or acrylic to the area I applied the glitter. Thanks so much and sorry for the bother. That is moosh them into the acrylic or just lay them in the gel and then apply another clear layer of either acrylic or gel? And, do you have any other advice on the application of glitter dust with acrylic or gel? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NailTech" group.
