Right now all I know is what the press release mentions, that the demand
exceeded the supply. It makes sense that base and top would go faster because
you use them for every service where the color would vary. Officially since
Shellac is a hybrid and not a sog CND is suggesting not to use it outside of
the system as they can't guarantee results. When I run out I will be postponing
doing it until I can get more base and top. However I know others feel
differently and while I disagree with the idea I do understand and respect
everyones right to make their own decisions.

Holly,
May ask why aren't the base and top coats available?  Is it because too many
nail techs are using the products or any other reason?  Is anything else
compatible with these two products one can use if prior are not available?
Thanks so much, Peggy :o)!

The colors are easier to get, try calling Peels, State, Aerial, etc the local
type distributors.  Base and top sadly I can't find, have done a lot of hunting
hoping to tell everyone where to find it.

Great combos I'm sure ... except when you only have the 6 colors from the kit,
you don't have a lot of choices.  And I can't find the other 6 available for
purchase.  Plus I'm now having to cancel customers and turn people away because
of no base or top coat.

If you have not discovered the joys of layering Shellac to make new colors,
have you ever been missing out!! For example a layer of Fedora followed by a
layer of Tutti Frutti makes a bright purple!  Here are some combos gathered
from CND EA's to get you started (20 typed up by Gina Cella!), now let your
imagination loose :o)

Please note: Make sure to properly prep the nails with a manicure using Cuticle
Away and ScrubFresh. Shellac Base Coat cures for 10 secs. 1st Shellac Color
Coat cures for 2 minutes, 2nd Shellac Color Coat cures for 2 minutes and
Shellac Top Coat cures for 2 mins. Remove sticky residue with 99% isopropyl
alcohol. Always use a CND UV or Brisa Lamp for perfect results!
