the heat spike can occur if the gel is too thick, are you sculpting them thin?
Are you using the Brisa gloss to seal it all when you finish?

I'm nor sure exactly what meds she's on. I know she has arthritis and issues
with her back. She also has very sensitive skin.
I am currently using the Brisa gel from Creative only because I can buy it at
our local supply shop.
I have to admit though, I'm not a fan. The clear is very cloudy.
I have tried Young Nails and like the brand pretty well. I also loved that
there was no heat spike with it.

Subject: NailTech:: Need Help desperately...

Good Evening Ladies! I need everyone's help.
I have a client that I have been doing gel on.
We were so excited to find something that didn't make her have an allergic
reaction. Yes, she had severe reactions to acrylic.

Blistering and her nails were to the point they were falling off the nail bed.
These were the conditions described to me when she first started coming to me.
And of course she was the type of woman who didn't want to give up her nails.
In
the long run she had to.
Now, she has been coming to me since October and all of a sudden we are having
issues with the gel nails just falling off.

If they are no falling off, they are flaking off and I have never seen gel
flake.

Almost all of my clients are wearing gel and none of them are having these
issues.

I will replace them when she comes for her fills but within 2 weeks the same
thing is going on.
I am using Brisa for now (only because it's readily available to me).
I'm hoping that maybe someone else has experienced this or can tell me what
they
think might be happening.
Thanks ladies!!
Michelle Clem
