Hi there. I got my free sample of Eco gel and the instructions that came w/ it say to use bonder. I know this is a dumb question, but what, exactly, is bonder? What brand should I use since the sample didn't come w/ any? Can I use my YN?

Thanks

Hi Michelle,

Bonder may be used if you have a client who is having lifting issues, but generally speaking you do not need any primer or bonder. Proper prep - light buffer block just to remove the shine, meticulous cuticle work. Application very thin - I have been "scrubbing" the base on and experiencing absolutely no shrinkage of the color coat some are seeing - I do not have to waste time dry-wiping the tacky layer before the color coats.

Base, color, color, base or any quick dry top coat - Out The Door for example. Our Polish Sealer drys one coat in less than one minute. Using this type of top coat helps protect the soak off UV Gel which is porous by nature and you can retail for quick shine touch-ups.
