Okay, I have seen some of you talking about the Dashing Diva full coverage tips. Are these like the Prescription Nails that were out a few years ago (are those still around)? I am asking because I am kind of... OVER... one of my client's habits. I have talked about this same client before, years ago, so it may be familiar.
I have a client, we'll call her Ms. P. Ms. P has been coming to me for 13 years now. She comes WEEKLY, unless she is going out of town or something. In that week, she rips off her nails. Yes. Rips off her nails. If she has more than two still on, it is a MIRACLE, and I am not kidding. I don't charge her for a full set every week, but she gives me a generous tip (she makes her check out for $50 EVERY WEEK). I REALLY love Ms. P... she is super nice and very thoughtful. She brings me homemade soup, cookies, gives generous gifts, etc. BUT... she rips off her nails! I have tried EVERYTHING on this woman, but as I keep telling her, it is like building a house on no foundation. Her nailbeds are downright SCARY, as you can probably imagine. I told her one time that I didn't think I could put anything on her nails anymore, and she started CRYING. I felt horrible for her, so I just did a short overlay, even though I knew it wouldn't last... it never does. Anyway... I am thinking maybe I should switch her to the full-coverage tips for a while, to possibly help her nailbeds grow? Maybe? SOMETHING? ANYTHING??? Any suggestions??
