Katherine, thank you. I was thinking it might work like that, but I was not sure.

If you fold the plastic liner off instead of sliding the wax and foil off with the plastic liner and leave the wax on, you can then remove one foil at a time and remove the sog as usual. Then roll the remaining wax off with your bare hands.

Elaine,
How would you remove the gel polish one finger at a time? Do you remove all of the pariffin and foil at once? I would worry about the gel harding back up.

Angie, Elaine was out of the country, she is due home today I belive. I am sure her email is mega full, so of she misses this let me know and I will ask her. But I think Michelle might be right. I will have to test that. I always remove one at a time, so I am not 100% sure. I know when soaking acrylic, yes it will harden back up.

Subject: Re: NailTech:: sog, warming, pads glitter

Gloria,

Even though I know plenty of techs use heating pads or warming mitts, technically it is a big risk. It isn't just the fingers at risk but any surrounding vapors from the acetone can ignite in the air. I do have a safe suggestion that can be used as an add on service. Paraffin. If you foil wrap the finger tips only, you can apply the butter or lotion of your choice and then dip (foil and all) into the Paraffin. The heat from the wax will warm the foils. It will also seal the foil shut. You then wrap the hands in plastic and put into terri mits.

Because it is a hand treatment you get double the benefit.

when doing removal for sog . after wrapping the fingers I have taken a

speeds up the removal. is it 2 dangerous 2 warm the heating pad and lay

short from electric pad would happen. thought about the warming pads used
in micro 2 place on finger tips? If I use a lot of glitter sog I find the
warmth helps 2 break it up / any suggestions? Gloria from Indiana thanks
