> I have had something similiar I have a nurse also message therpist who
in our salon spa was cutting toe nails for people with health issues.
I had read that a nure was excempt and could do this. Would u believe a
nail tech cousin of the nurse called the state. I got the call and we
dicussed the problem. bottom line I would need 2 have my attornwy
interrupt the law. How ever making it a med spa under a Dr. the board of
cosmetolgy does not jury. Whole different rules. In our town a Dr office
with laser equipment has his girl friend doing the treatments. That is
legal she had a weekend class???? and it is under is supervision wow
What did
the state board say? I am curious about the spa...the services
> are in a Doctors office type place? We have those here too. Laser hair
> removal is done in a dermatologists office here. People working there
