Since I am using Shellac a CND UV lamp or Brisa lamp is what I use. If you are using another product you will want to use the lamp designed to cure what you are using. Watts are merely the amount of electricity the bulbs use, the UV output is what matters for curing. Case in point the Brisa lamp is 27 watts and the CND UV lamp is 36 watts and because they put out the same UV they will both work for the same products.
