I usually use my sonic doodad to remove the Shellac from my nails because I can do both hands at the same time. Because I can rub my finger over the nail and push the product off while I'm soaking, it comes off in about 5 minutes.
I use the foil and cotton ball method for clients because they do not want to soak in a bowl of acetone and they will not "work it off" like I do. At least not without making a mess and spilling acetone all over themselves.
