Anna,

Traditionally this list has always been more seasoned techs and more
professional. Newbies are mainly on the forum. There is a lot of BS that goes
on on the forum that those of us veterans don't wish to participate in. I scan
the forums to see if I can help anyone out with YN questions, but for the most
part, I do not post there much.

I guess this is what has confused me. The BT Nail Tech Forum is much more
informative in my opinion. It seems that if one is only reading the email
list mails then they may be missing out on answers to the very questions
they will eventually ask on the list.

::shrug:: Just sayin'..

I am 100% a member of Beautytech. I have been since 1995 when I met Debbie
at our Star Nail Training in Atlantic City. It was love at the first Crack
UP! I've always just belonged to the emailing list. It's easier for me to
follow since I'm in my email box all day at work. I do have to agree with a
different level of professionalism. Not that the boards arent... I think
it's just, a majority of mailing list members have been here as long as or
nearly as long as I have. Things don't tend to get testy or degrading. In
the early days, I just felt like the forums were more of a hit and go. If
you were on the emailing list it was a commitment.

I haven't been to the forums in YEARS unless Lorraine says, "hey Elaine go
address this". I do like the image sharing that someone mentioned. And am
sorry that there are connection problems with getting emails and images. So
I get Debbie there.

Anyway...I'm a lifer. I love lurking you guys...and I love the involvement
when necessary. You're my test group. I do read, digest and take your
comments seriously...and apply it to my work and research.

OK now I'm getting sappy. I'm sorry. I'm on three weeks straight with no
time off. 10 days in Europe. Sleep deprived. If you could see me right
now with my sloppy pony tail, no makeup, jeans and tee shirt. You'd all
laugh.

Are there anyone in this group NOT a member of BeautyTech.com? If you are a
member, how often do you read the forum?
