Diana, My husband used to work with a woman who went to the "best salon in
town" for a pedicure. She had never had one before so really didn't know what
to
expect. Most of the pedicure went well, until the tech took out the foot file
and not only filed the woman's calluses, but also the tops of her feet. She
was
bleeding all over both feet and her feet were swollen by the time she left. She
told my husband that she couldn't wear shoes for a week and had to wear
slippers
to work! She complained to the owner of the salon who told her they were sorry
and would offer her a free pedicure. Really? Needless to say, she never went
back. This is a high end salon that wins Best of Knoxville every year because
they have a couple hundred employees that vote for themselves, so they always
lead in votes and therefore win every year. Not that I'm bitter.
