Yes you can purchase just the handpiece. You can even get a different one like the kp-36. They are interchangable with your boxes. I would call Kupa or Atwood Industries. I think you can buy the handpiece for $250. I just had my kp-36 worked on and it cost me about $80 and it took them 2 weeks before they could get to it. Hope you find one soon. I think my hand would fall off by the end of the day without mine.
