It's not a big deal Kimberly :) Give it a try. There really is nothing to lose just setting it up. Make a few transactions, reconcile like you always do. There is such an electronic paper trail that you will have all the proof you need of transactions you've done.
I wish you'd waited until you'd actually had experience with the app, service, support etc, before being a downer... but that's just my opinion. I don't understand wrestling with an idea as simple and straight forward as this, and at no risk. You're not in any contracts, and there's no cost if you don't use the service. Just my opinion.
