It is possible. Most people think it is just dry feet due to weather change and never realize that it is a real problem. It can go away or get better during the summer due to sandals and flip flops let the feet air out. I had a client that had that problem, I didnt realize it was athletes foot until a started scrubbing, I had to use almost a whole bottle of foot disinfectant. It Still didn't work. : (
