I have a few other Soak Offs as well I have tried my hardest not to mix the
products so that I know they are working the way they are supposed to I
purchased 3 colors and the top and base from Gelez and hated it I was so
disappointed cause I love EZ FLow products (could have been cause I used to
educate for them).

I have recently purchased 2 colors of the Gellish and I have to say so far I
love it but I haven't removed it from anyone yet, my biggest thing right now is
that I do not compromise the natural nail and keep with the less abrasive
factor of the soak off polishes, cause then it really only defeats the purpose
of doing a natural nail service (to me anyways).

I have to say that I have all but 1 color of the Shellac and continuelly stick
with it even though it thickens terribly and I have to shake my arm off just
for it to work properly but I do still love it the best...I have gone against
suggestion and been warming it on a candle warmer to ease my pain and suffering
so that it applies smoother and faster too.

With regard to the Minx...I researched it years ago (3 years) and found that at
the time they did not have any training on application only sent you a cd to
watch and didn't have much in the way of support, they wanted you to purchase
the kit that only consisted of a lamp and a few foil packages for over $400 at
that time. They don't last very long and I really did not want to put out much
money for an item I would have clients coming back within a few days wanting
their money back or monoplizing my books for repairs. I really didn't see
where it was going to be cost effective to even try it. I have heard of a few
other companies out there that do VERY simular as Minx...continue to research
and see what will be most effective cost wise and client wise...Remember those
that like what's hip and in style are very picky, flighty and not very stable
with their time management so if you like those clients in your chair then BUY
IT...if not leave it where it lies!

Best of luck!

Happy New Years!

Subject: NailTech:: Gels, Hybrids, soak offs polishes

Okay I have noticed that there are at least 15 gel/soak off types of
products. And the hybrid of course is Shellac. ( still p.o.'d about
them getting rid of my favorite u.v. top coat used it for EVERYONE! )

Light Ellagance
Nail Bliss
Gelacquer - Christrio
Gelac - Ibd
Gelify -Nail light
Gelez - Ez flow
Perfect match - Lechat
Cacee has one
Eco - Star nail
Axxium - opi
Geleration- jessica
Gellish - Harmony
NSI
Bio sculpture
Mani-q- young nails
Gelousy

Shellac CND

I have 3 of these in my mani room, Shellac, Gelousy, and Eco. I have
to say the one my clients go for most are the shellac. I dont mix
brands, client had me do shellac base on tips and speedy on the back
of the nail and put reg polish on it all and then wondered why they
sucked ! Told her that is why I dont mix brands.
( sorry off subject there)

My question to you all is , What is the brand you use and why?

I am willing to expand my wall of color and would like your input on
the gel explosion.

I am going to try and get into the Minx, but then I see the Incoco
and Dashing Diva and when I think of these products I think AVON!
sorry I do. So I know what is going to happen here, I am going to get
into Minx and then 15 other brands are going to pop up and confusion
sets in. Along with the lac of money in my pocket going out to try 15
new brands and then only have one that people ask for ( the one who
does the most self promotion)

Thanks for you time gals.

Kelley
