When I lived in Florida.. I worked for a short time at a beautiful day spa. The owner was NOT in the business and knew nothing about the business. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I needed hand sanitizer and she bought me a blue gel and said "try this" ... I looked at the bottle and it was an invigorating gel for use on legs during pedicures (minty) ...she shopped at the local vietnamese beauty supply and this bottle of "stuff" was cheaper than the blue hand sanitizer I was using so she thought it was fine! COMMON SENSE please!! She thought nothing of buying a 30.00 pillow to decorate the nail room but supplies... eh.. who needs them? She knew nothing about sanitation, etc... Suffice it to say..it was one of the best things that happened to me... I then moved to go to booth renting in the best salon!!

In my area, the very upscale salons aka NSS are just as bad with $#!tty sanitation practices. Watch out for the "window dressing." Most of the upscale are not as they seem......
