I have used LE for many years. I love it. I recommend educational classes from the manufacturer. Any professional service needs professional training. LE gels are not for the unlicensed masses, it is a highly technical, professional only product not to be self taught. That does not mean that it is hard to master, you just need to be shown how to use the product for best results and trouble shooting tips. When techs buy samples and try it themselves with no training, usually they throw it away and tell everyone that the product didn't work and was no good. The truth is that they did not know how to work with the product or how to properly apply the product.
I have been doing nails for a LONG time. When the fast set acrylics first came out I wanted to try it because I was finished applying the ac and ready to file before the ac was cured. I bought a fast set ac and tested it on myself. It set up so fast that I had a huge lump cured on my nail before I could say WTF! I put it aside and left it alone until I signed up for a class with that products educator. After one class where I was taught how to work with the new product I took my full set time down from an hour and a half to one hour and my fills from an hour and fifteen minutes to fifty minutes. If I had thrown it in the trash and declared it not any good after that first horrific nail, who knows if I'd still be in the biz all these years later. The same thing happened when I first started using gels. Disastrous results until I TOOK A CLASS from the manufacturer. Gels are NOT self taught.
