Jodi, For me, it depends on the color of the polish. There is no set percentage-FOR ME. I know others do s 60/40 or 50/50. I mix the color(s) and I guess I just know what looks right. This works for me. I have used OPI and China Glaze and Young Nails SO base. I think you just need to play with it. Jodi, I just realized that all the colors I made were dark. What colors are you trying to make? It really DOES work!!
