Subject: Re: NailTech:: The New Shellac Colors

Can anyone who loves Shellac tell me HOW in heck do you keep it from
getting so thick? I shake the fire out of it and still it became
unusable. I had to throw away 2 half full bottles after it didn't dry
properly as I was layering it on a client's nails and then she called
me the next day to say it all peeled up. I figured it would, so I
warned her that it might happen and wasn't at all surprised when she
called.

One tech told me when hers starts to get thick, she opens a new bottle
of Shellac and then as the new bottle eventually has room in it, she
pours the old one into the new one. Basically then it's a full bottle
agan and she claims it's not thick. It seems like it would be a
vicious cycle. Does anyone else ever do this?

On the brighter side, I am becoming more proficient with a gel brush
as I've been using more of the Eco SOG and other brands in pots! I
love that they don't ever thicken up!
