Yes I remember that! We had to have tablets sitting on a piece of foil or
the container that looked like a salt shaker and just like you said, one day
they said no more.

Way back when... in the dawn of nail care.. back when "Madge the Manicurist"
was
still soaking her nail customers in Palmolive, State Board of Cosmetology in
Ohio used to REQUIRE that nail techs keep FORMALDEHYDE TABLETS INSIDE OF OUR
NAIL DRAWERS WITH OUR IMPLEMENTS!  Honestly!  They sold these jars of
formaldehyde tablets at the beauty supplies!   Then, suddenly one day, they
told
us to NOT keep formaldehyde tablets in our drawers!  It was supposed to act as
a
bactericide/fungicide, to "keep" our implements sanitary, but then they
discovered that it was not healthy for human beings to be anywhere near
formaldehyde, so... that was the end of that!  Weird... huh?

What is the reason that they took formaldehyde out of products? I had a client
ask me and I think it causes cancer but I wanted to make sure I am correct.
