Things that will make ManiQ Color peel or most SOG systems (FROM MY EXPERIENCE)
Getting Protein Bond or any acid free primer on the skin of sidewalls or cuticle. It looks innocent and looks like there are no issues, but trust me you will have them. You will lift there for sure and you can then peel the SOG off. Putting the base, color or top on too thick. Again, it will lift at the free edge with this example and you can peel it off. Topcoat in the sidewalls or on cuticles (this is a biggie, I see this all the time) will make it lift and you can peel it off. It may be even just a little bit and you used an orangewood stick to clean up. It will run back into the sidewalls before you get back into the light. Apply it thin to begin with to avoid this problem. Moral of the story, you can peel anything off of a nail, even polish. If ManiQ Color or any SOG is applied correctly and there aren't areas for your clients to pick at and peel off you are golden! Also Lynnette, your finger may not have been in the correct spot in the LED light and the Mentor didn't realzie it and you didn't get a proper cure, therefore, you peeled off. With smaller hands, I've found that it can be kind of hard to get the fingers into the correct spots. We use our UV lights in the salon to eliminate this possible problem.
