I have been using Gelac and quite like them. The only problem I'm having is
getting the application thin enough so I have no cracking. I do not do
enhancements thanks to an overly sensitive respiratory system.

Hey guys. I know there has been a lot of discussion about the soak of
gels. I was wondering what you think is the best one? I have tried the
shellac and like that but it is kind of pricey. I know they have
gelish too. Is eco the same thing or is it like OPI. I have tried OPI
and did not like it at all. I know young nails came out with something
too. I wanted to try a couple colors but do not want to waste my money
buying product I am not going to like. Thanks guys!

Shannon,

There are many different brands of UV Gel Polish now, hybrid, if you want to
call it that, or even soak off. The big picture is they are all traditional
polish replacements, not a replacement for an enhancement service, although
often you can move some enhancement clients to a UVGP service.

eco So Quick is a little different than the others, as it is a little
thicker can comes in a pot as opposed to a bottle/brush and polish
consistency. I don't know that one is any better than another. Just like you
tried several brands of acrylic before you found one that worked with your
style of application, held up well on the majority of your clients, you will
find one or more brands of UVGP that you will stick with over time.

eco is not the same as OPI's Axxium. Axxium is a "soak-off", eco is a UV Gel
Polish. Axxium takes about 20 minutes to soak off, most file it off or down
for a fill. eco is a 5 minute soak off time, so it falls into the UV Gel
polish range.

I wrote an article about the different types of gels available today, take a
few minutes and read it through and see if that helps clear things up for
you. I know I have to update it a little with some new information I have
store here, but I most likely won't get to do that for another week or so.

You can also get a free sample of the eco So Quick by filling out a short
