Before gel polish, I told my Clients to wear the toe separators for at least 30
minutes. I also used to sell "Spread'ems" They are a sandal with toe separators
built in. I loved mine and so did my clients. Now I do mostly gel polish on
toes.

Hi Teks,

I have a client who has those dreaded "overlapping" toes and I just can't
seem to get her out of the shop without a polish smudge! I dry each and every
coat of polish with a small hair dryer, 1 minute for the base coat, (I touch
each coat to make sure its dry before I add the next one!) 2 min. for the 1st
color coat, 3 min for the next color coat, and 4 min for the top coat.
Although they feel dry to the touch to me, once I remove the toe spacers, and
she puts on her sandals, its all over with! SMUDGE! Dang it! What do I need
to do here!? Do I send her out with the toe spacers in place? Tell her not to
remove them for an hour or so? I'm totally frustrated! I know I could use
Shellac, but the cost, extra time and the extra steps to apply and remove are
worrisome. I've been looking at the polish strips that you buy. They go ON
dry and are supposed to wear well also. Anyone know where to get those at a
good price? The new sally hansen ones are $10 for a pack of 14 strips, a
little TOO pricey for me! Any other ideas before I completely lose my mind
with this problem!?

Thanks!

Pam
