Ultrasonic cleaners are not sterilizers…the medical/dental community uses Ultrasonic Cleaners to pre-clean the implements prior to Autoclaving/Sterilizing. The reason is that Ultrasonic cleaning will get in the crevices, where you can miss with hand scrubbing.
