It's been one week....that I've been there and that we've officially been open. We created such a buzz around town! We ended up turning both nails and hair services away on Saturday! Yikes! We have had walk-ins every single day this week, but Saturday was barely controlled chaos....and with scheduling snafus, we had two separate situations where a client had to leave disappointed that they weren't able to be accommodated after all. This can't happen! So....the owners asked me to post that we're looking for someone who could work on Saturdays (for now...just this one day) as a receptionist. Quote from the owner: "someone sun-shiny to give clients beverages and check them in and out, and fill-in on the odd service." This is an hourly paid position, but ideally, the person would be licensed and can perform some services--we do hair, nails, waxing and makeup. A student would be OK since they could perform certain services under the supervision of a fully licensed cosmo...which we have. We have computer/online booking and they'd need to learn our system.
