When I do a fade with gel I put my color or colors across the tip of the nail. Then I turn my flat brush sideways and work with the narrow side, lightly pulling a bit of color/glitter towards the cuticle. If I use more than one color I will usually put the darker color at the free edge and the lighter color right next to it. After pulling the colors toward the cuticle I then cure. If the glitter seems to want to blend together too much or is running off to the sides, I will flash cure after one or two nails and then move on. Hope this helps.
