I agree with Laura.. I am loving the cure of the LE lamp, plus it's a
smaller so it doesn't take up precious space on my table. Jim put a lot of
research into these lamps. so you know they have to be great! And three
bulbs.. What's more to say!

Debbie I've heard very good things about the Light Elegance lights. I
don't think you can go wrong with those. And they are only 3 bulbs so you
save when it's time to replace them J

Yes . Rhonda... I'm right there with you about those "lighter" lights. Not
only do the bulbs wear out fast but on mine the bulbs wont seat properly so
they hang down and wont light at all. I'm finished with them. I don't
have time to worry about whether the light is on or not. Am in the market
for a different brand...any suggestions?

Pam,

What light do you have? SOME lights are now being produced with electronic
ballasts instead of the magnetic ballasts that we have been used to. The
bulbs we have used for years WILL NOT WORK in these lights. How you can
tell if you have electronic ballasts, the light is very light, hardly heavy
at all.

I am still a little ticked that I purchased a light, thinking it was just
like my other one and it is different and takes different bulbs. I
personally feel too that the quality of those lights is pretty much junk,
the bulbs quit curing like two months later no matter how many times a bulb
has been fired, been through two lights and three sets of replacement bulbs
and same story. I finally junked the lights and purchased something
different. What a waste of money IMHO.

That color has nothing to do with the performance of the bulbs. It is a
misconception that the dark ring means the bulb is bad. The ring has to do
with the cathodes and the coating on the inside of the bulb. If you are
seeing the ring and also have a problem with the bulbs starting, meaning
they take longer to light up, then it is a voltage problem with the lamp.
But the ring alone is no problem.

I was told in a class that if your bulbs has a dark smoked look around the
base of the bulb that they need changed. I have 40 hours left on my CND
bulbs and they already look like that. Do you guys think that is true? I
hate to waste the rest of the hours but I don't want to start having
problems either.
