Their color chart isn't your typical color chart...EVERY color crystal is hand glued onto a grid, with its name/number. I can't put my hands on my color chart, but I think there's something like 75 or so colors. I'm sure it's extremely labor intensive to produce each color chart. My guess is that by charging $25, it helps minimize the number of folks who ask for a color chart, only to not order from him. I would be surprised if it's a money-maker for him.
Let's think about this for a minute--we are in a business where we don't (a) want to be taken advantage of, and (b) our time is money. I don't think it's unreasonable for another business to have similar expectations. Personally, I think that it's a HUGE advantage to know the exact color and size of the crystals I'm going to use--especially if you're going to be doing a LOT of crystal/custom work. My gut feeling is that $25 is a bit pricey, but, again, if I were going to be doing huge amounts of multi-colored crystal work, it could be worthwhile.
