To avoid the "shrinking" make sure to ScrubFresh the entire nail, not just up 
and down the center. Also the base coat and color coat should each be well 
shaken, not rolled. It sounds gross, but if you see odd spots or streaks as you 
apply that look like clear snot it is an indication that the Shellac needs to 
be better shaken. Be sure you apply the base coat thin and neat, the color 
flows where the base coat goes so if you miss a side with base the color will 
appear to shrink back. Finally if the shrinking happens at the end when you 
wipe off the tacky layer and there is color on your pad, the top coat wasn't 
sealing everything and the alcohol removed some of the color.  Let me know if

 i follow all of the steeps by steps that i have learn in shellac classes, the 
application of shellac still getting shrinking on the side of the nails!? it is 
frustrated! has anybody experience it? and why is it?
