Kat, I am an esthetician, too, but since you are new to the nail world, you need to read and learn more about this end of the business. The media, along with Dr.Oz, has brainwashed the public into believing that the UV lamps cause skin cancer. You really need to read the report Doug Schoon and a few other top scientists and chemistry experts in THIS field have written. You do know that no studies were done to substantiate the reports of the UV lights, right? Did you also know that one of the inventors of SPF has come out and said that the lamps DO NOT cause melanoma? You should stay in this group or at least find a group on Facebook that can lead you to the correct places for the right information to pass along. The last thing our industry needs are techs who continue to pass along the wrong information. We need to stand together and educate our clients correctly. Also, I do not offer sunscreen or gloves. If I did, I feel I would be playing into the belief that the lights are causing skin cancer. Buenos dias, Lynnette
