I'm with you, Lauren! The going rate for nail station rent here is about $100 a week. That usually includes the desk and chairs and it's kinda hard NOT to include utilities with standard booth rent! lol. Commercial space in these parts runs anywhere from $0.85 to $1.50 per square foot-- of course, there's some high dollar space that's going in the $4/ft range. I pay $1.35/sq ft plus CAM for my salon and it includes utilities-- for about 350 sq feet I'm paying about the same as I would in booth rental in someone else's salon. But woe be the poor soul who wants to booth rent FROM ME! I have my price set, but I doubt anyone in this area would ever agree to it!
