Hi Teks,
I'm looking to re-do my current nail station. I've had the SAME station for
the last 23 years and I'm SICK OF IT! lol! I got the manicure table at IKEA,
its a 6 ft. long top, with a cabinet on one side, and 4 drawers on the other
side. Behind me, is a brass and glass eterge (display/curio/shelves type of
unit) I had built in a cupboard with sliding doors on one of the lower shelves
to comply with Ohio State Board to have towels stored in a closed cabinet. I
have some plastic sliding drawer units to store supplies and materials, and a
laundry hamper to keep the used towels in. I'm open for suggestions. Its hard
to find pictures of nail stations in the industry books! Here's what I'm
thinking...
Directly behind me on the wall, 2 tall pier type of display cabinets, 2 ft.
wide, 16" deep, 6 feet tall with drawers or cabinets on the lower half, placed
4 feet apart with glass display shelves that would connect them. Next, in
front of that, I would have my actual nail table. 6 ft. long x 2 ft. wide,
glass top, drawers on one side, cabinet on the other.
I've been searching my local craigslist, and thrift stores, but so far,
nothing.
Help?
