The* "Nail Tech Event of the Smokies"* is gearing up for our 6th year on*August 25/26th, 2013! * Thanks to the Vegas Show conflicting, we've had to depart from our usual date in June, but August in Gatlinburg means great pool weather! It's been an amazing journey & we've come a LONG way since the 1st Event back in 2008. Thanks to all the nail professionals for their support & we're pleased to announce that out of 41 booths in our new, larger room, we've only got 18 remaining available!
The Monday Workshop Classes are also being reserved & there are only a few remaining available. The FREE Event Day Classes were such a hit that we'll be offering them again, & as always the door prizes will be off the chain, too! Also in the works is something very special that's designed to help techs save money & create loyalty to participating nail companies. Details will be released in January, 2013! Nailpro judge Carla Collier will be spearheading the competitions next year, which are designed for the novice, in order to help techs break into the competition arena. Everyone's got to start somewhere....might as well be here amongst friends! We're looking forward to seeing what new ideas Carla will implement & we're excited she can join us again for her 3rd year. Our 1st "Bomb.com" Pre-Event Meet & Greet was held by Nail Talk Radio, with the food sponsored by Kathy Weltman at Soft Landings Towels. It was SUCH a big hit that Athena Elliott & the Nail Talk Radio crew will be holding it again, so count on them coming up with something incredibly fun & exciting. The hotels are SO close to the Gatlinburg Convention Center & that means techs can leave their cars parked & walk to The Event. The group rates are FABULOUS, but blocks of rooms are limited, so make your reservations today & mention you're with the *"Nail Tech Event*' to get the low group prices! If you've got a favorite company that you'd like to see at The Event, NOW is the time to contact them to request they get a booth. Requests from nail techs carry more weight than requests from us & the more techs that make their requests, the better our chances are for those nail companies to join us.
