Hi Teks, I saw a beautiful set of nails last night and had the woman explain to me how her nail tech had done the design. The nails were painted silver frost, and I thought the tech had drawn black curvy lines thru the polish, but the woman told me that it was THREAD (black!) that the tech had dropped into the wet polish! WTH!? I went to the fabric store tonight to find this type of thread, but ... not sure I have the right thread. The stuff on her nails really looked fine (thin) and it looked like it was weighted enough to make the curvy loopy lines on the nails. Do you think she wet the thread with polish or gel first before dropping/placing the thread onto the nail? After applying the thread, she placed tiny diamond shaped colored rhinestones along the black lines so it looked like a set of tiny Christmas lights! I am going to try this tomorrow.. wish me luck! I bought 100% silk thread at the fabric store, so I will see how this works out! Suggestions, advice and ideas are always welcome! Pam Nail Designs Ohio
