I'm from North America and a decade ago I introduced the artificial nail
industry to India. Setup India's first full-service nail bar. Now have 11 nail
bars and 2 nail academies with a successful product distribution business. I'm
buying from USA.

I do everything in gel - gel mani/pedi, soak off, gel polish and hard gels.

Its the most successful nail chain in India.

I have never done acrylics.
The smell and fumes in a tropical country were a deterrent and deciding factor.
(95% places don't have central air conditioning)

If anyone is visiting my side of the globe, its an open invitation to be my
guest. Its amazing how nail technology from the USA has triggered big business
worldwide.

Thx for listening.

Subject: Re: NailTech:: Natural nail salons??

A friend of mine does only natural nails, gel polish, pedicures, gel polish,
pedicures, gel polish pedicures and face waxing. She is a s busy as she wants
to be. She works part time.

You could consider one of the soak off gels for your artificial nail clients.
No odor but they can still wear their nails longer than they can keep their
natural nails and still have the soak off option. Just a thought to make your
transition away from acrylics easier and maybe not loose any clients.

I fased out acrylics years ago. I do hard gels mainly, but, my soak off gel
color business has gone through the roof with more natural nail and pedicure
clients than I've ever had in the past.

You can defiantly have a successful nail business without doing acrylics.
