The monomer you're describing sounds like odorless monomer. It is usually a very pale purple in my experience. That is a completely different system and technique than traditional (smelly, purple) monomer. Primer that smells like stinky feet is old-school acid-based primer (MAP). As better technology now exists, the industry has gotten away from that and now mostly uses non-acid primers. CND has a primer called NailPrime that works with that system. Are you currently using that primer? I might suggest you search out a CND class in L&P if you are struggling - it might make a world of difference! Where are you located?
