I'm still working on getting my station built….it just never seems to come 
together.  My plan is to have the platform at about knee height when I am 
sitting on my stool.  I'd love to hear more about your design.

I was thinking of building mine in three pieces, in case I want to relocate.  1 
piece would be the step up, 1 piece would be the top platform, 1 piece the 
base.  In a perfect world I will have storage in the base, and in the stair.
