I'm sure all the old jaded nail-hags on this list are enjoying your
enthusiasm as much as I do. (Nancy King says if you have done nails over 15
years you qualify as a nail hag!) Your joy is refreshing and reminds us all
how passionate we are about this amazing career!

Things are going so much better and I have you guys to thank! I ordered a
fiberglass sample kit for FREE from Backscratchers; only paid S/H (thank you
Melissa)! I also visited a nail wholesale in Florida and racked up on
supplies because the wholesale suppliers here are more geared towards hair.
I've started my Shellac armamentarium (light, colors, scrubfresh, etc). I'm
awaiting my enrollment verification form from my school so I can save on
registration for the Orlando show in June! I've viewed the site for the
Gaitlinburg event and will be making plans to attend (money willing lol).
I've reserved a spot in North Little Rock, AR to see THE Holly Scripps
instruct a class. FootNanny will be in Houston in May and that's a 4-hour
drive and I have friends there who have offered to house me LOL. And to top
it off, TODAY, the student instructor saw me studying the color wheel for
the "Creative Touch" chapter and asked if I needed help. I said yes and she
gave me the most detailed description of the color wheel that I could have
only dreamed!! I've heard of franken (msp) polish but now I understand it
because she demonstrated using the primary colors of nail polish we have.
I've also seen videos where shellac colors were combined. AMAZING!! Thank
you all for your continued encouragement and I'm so excited about the
upcoming nail events!!
