I have had a couple acrylic clients that have had cancer.  As far as nails I
have not seen good things with breast cancer chemo treatment, both clients I
had lost their natural nails completely from the chemo. One of them I did not
do her nails while she was getting chemo I met her after and she told me, and
the other client I have  came to me with acrylic on from a different salon and
while she was going through chemo.  I took the acrylic off gently by soaking
with cotton and foil because her nails did not look good.  Sure enough about a
week later her natural nails came off.  Good news is she is done all her
treatment and her nails grew back  looking beautifully natural and does not
need acrylic at all.

Hi! I have a client that soaked her nails off a few weeks ago because she
started chemo.  She's still taking chemo & now wants to have them put back on.
I don't really think this is a good idea. What do y'all think?   Xoxo, Jess
