Diana, it will always stick to the unwiped inhibition layer of CND Shellac.
Other gel polishes, I'm not sure about.  I never try to cover a nail fully
in one piece of foil, I use it randomly over the nail for a distressed look.
If you have Shellac you are good :)

thanks Laura, I have had the same problem.  Also do you know about the foil
sticking to the sticky layer of gel? Odd, sometimes the foil will stick and
sometimes it won't.  I stopped using it because I never knew if it would
