Michelle, I use a product made specifically for mixing, its at the
salon and forgot to get the name. Lysa Comfort I think had the
line. Maybe Lynnette can help me out here.
Anyway, comes in a large squeeze bottle. The polish bottles that you
purchase have fill lines. depending on the depth of your color, the
ratio you use. approx 30-40-50%. Never had any shattering. Use opi
polish the most.
The only problem I have had is it curling upwards at the
cuticle. does not happen on all clients but some. I have not been
able to get an answer on what I am doing wrong. and NO it is not on
the cuticle. It has to be a ratio issue, or maybe applying too
thick. I just have never had anyone have this problem to ask.. Just odd.
Also, at one time and maybe now, Young Nail was mixing Mani-Q with polish.
Its hard to find warm neutral colors in gel polish. So most of my
mixtures are those colors that I cannot find in gels. I have 2
clients that for 2 years wear the same mixture with zero problems.
Also you mentioned cuccio gels, they are having some deals if you
