Donna from Maine ============== Nancy, I enjoy very much receiving your news letters and I use so many of your recipes. My family also love the ones I try.. I once went to visit a shakers village up north. We had dinner there, they served the most amazing potato soup I have ever had.. I would love a recipe like theirs.. Its wonderful.. I never can get my soup to come out as well. They use herbs I am guessing. I would appreciate your help.. Sue Edwards.. Austin TX. ============== I am confused too. Tried to find today's list of recipes because I wanted to copy the Dill Pickle coin recipe. Never did find it. The new system is confusing to me. thanks, Rosie Thank you for reminding me that the link is not clickable for AOL users. I appreciate you letting me know. Nancy ============== Nancy, I have been looking for a recipe for Chili Rellenos prepared the old way. My husband loves them and I have never made them before. The recipe is a large chili which has to be roasted and peeled then cut open and stuffed with a meat mixture and wedges of cheese then dipped in egg whites and then a corn meal mixture and then fried on all sides in a skillet. Also I think there is a sauce you poor over the top of the prepared chilies before serving. If you or any of your readers have some recipes for these I would appreciate it very much. Amy ============== Hi Nancy, Corn in Pennsylvania is ready to harvest and I'm looking for a creamed corn recipe. My parents were from S. Carolina, and I grew up eating the best creamed corn ever. Of course the recipe was never written down. I've tried to 'make it like mom did.' But, it's just not the same. The only things I can remember are fresh corn cut off the cob, bacon fat and sugar. This dish tastes nothing like creamed corn in a can. I'd appreciate any help from your readers down south, or anywhere that know just how wonderful this dish is. Keep up the good work. Beth in PA. ============== Hi Nancy, I have been using the free trial version of Home Cookin since you sent me the link to is a year or so ago. I love it! It is so easy to use, too. Since I have been using it I don't have to keep adding to my collection of 3 ring binders cookbooks that are now threatening to take over the house! This is the best software for storing recipes I have seen! I have added a lot of new recipes in different categories and started my own categories. Thank you so much! For the people who asked for different sauce recipes and different butters, all they need to do is go to one of the links below and find just about anything they are looking for! I know there are a couple more links, too, to sites that you own and administer. In my opinion they are the best out there! Thanks for all your hard work and dedication, Nancy. I have made this to raves from cheesecake lovers. Anne from Pa. ============== Nancy, you do such a tremendous job with the newsletter. I am wanting a recipe for mayonnaise that didn't have mustard in it. Most mayonnaises do have mustard or mustard flour and we have a grandchild that is allergic to mustard in any form. I had to read labels 12 years ago, we had a daughter that had a blood clot in her knee. It took about 4 to 6 weeks to discover that. I had to read labels then for anything green such as lettuce, peas, spinach, even cauliflower, cucumbers and green spices. I was wanting a mayonnaise without mustard in any form. Thanks for the note and you have a great day. Susie Indy ============== Nancy, This is a muffin recipe I found for Sue Pelione. I hope it is the one she is looking for!
