MEXICAN FUDGE
1/4 cup water
1 cup white sugar
1 large can Carnation Milk
2 more cups of sugar
1 cup chopped nuts (Neighbor used black walnuts)
Boil 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar till amber color, add can of Carnation milk, the extra 2 cups sugar and boil until sample forms lumps in cold water. Add nuts and beat. Put in buttered pan or drop on waxed paper.

Easy Cream Cheese Fudge
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 (2 lb.) pkg. powdered sugar
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Microwave the cream cheese on low for about 4 minutes until creamy. Add powdered sugar a little at a time, stirring well. Melt the chocolate chips on low for about 4 minutes, until melted. Add melted chocolate chips to cream cheese and sugar. May add nuts - 1/2 cup or more - if you want them, mix well. Put in a buttered pan. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Microwave Peanut Patties
Combine in 2 quart glass bowl:
2 c. sugar
Dash of salt
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. white Karo
Cook on high 4 minutes. Stir and add 1-1/2 cups raw peanuts. Cook on high for 8 minutes. stir and add:
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2-3 drops red food coloring
Beat until creamy and drop on waxed paper. I pour on a pizza pan which I sprayed with Pam. I then wait until it cools. Cover in Saran Wrap. Add a gold bow and give for a Christmas gift.
