Dave was an amazing guy who seemed to single-handedly fight the battle against 
Internet buffer bloat. He was always quick to help anyone, and his packet 
processing skits are legendary. I’ve seen him in vlogs as recently as a month 
ago, streaming from the boat he lived on, playing his guitar and singing songs 
of packet loss and latency.
