No. The list software has to replace the original sender's address in the From: header with the list address because DKIM/SPF/DMARC. It then places the original sender's address not in the Reply-To: header but in the Cc: header because it has to go somewhere to stay preserved, I guess. So the news@ address (not header) doesn't appear in Cc: by accident, it appears there because it's the original email's sender.
