Do you (or somebody) know of recent numbers of what percentage of domains have all their DNS servers in;
a) same subnet
b) same AS
c) same geographical "zone" (faultline, floodplain, coastline, etc.)

Obviously if everything served by the DNS is co-located in the same failed facility, it does not matter that much if the names resolve to IP addresses which are unreachable anyway.
