I also thought it was already in Junos. Junos is a very wide topic. In Juniper's BGP implementation, there are two regular expression engines: one for communities, one for as-paths. Neither are PCRE. The implementation of regular expression matching in high availability software is a bit of a talk all on its own. -- Jeff
